Salt Marina Ras El Hekma

Salt Marina Ras El Hekma is the marina district of Salt, the resort Tatweer Misr is building at Km 185 on the Alexandria-Matrouh Road. Launched in July 2026, it places studios, chalets and townhouses around a yacht basin for 65 boats, with a boutique hotel, restaurants and shops along the water.

The Marina District

Tatweer Misr plans to invest about EGP 28 billion in Salt Marina, out of EGP 70 billion set aside for Salt as a whole. The district covers roughly 340,000 m². Its centre is a 105,000 m² marina basin with 2.65 km of waterfront and 16,300 m² of piers. The company says the basin was carved into the hillside of the site. Three Crystal Lagoons add another 30,000 m² of water.

Studios, Chalets and Townhouses

The homes are grouped under the name Marina Residences. Apartment blocks are kept low, from ground plus two to ground plus four floors, and the townhouses start at ground plus one. These are the sizes on Tatweer Misr's Salt Marina page:

• Studios: 45 to 55 m²
• Chalets: 65 to 135 m², with one to three bedrooms
• Townhouses: 130 to 145 m², with a garden, a terrace, a maid's room and a guest toilet

In total the district is planned to hold about 2,600 residential and hotel units.

Prices

The developer's page lists starting prices of EGP 5,541,000 for a studio, EGP 6,054,000 for a chalet and EGP 12,759,000 for a townhouse (checked on 20 October 2026). No payment plan is shown on that page, so contact the Trio Homes team for the current terms and the units still on offer.

Hotel, Shops and Beach Clubs

Salt Marina includes a boutique hotel with rooms and serviced apartments, two beach clubs and about 7,000 m² of restaurants, cafés and shops facing the marina. The architecture comes from Gianluca Peluffo & Partners, who used the Italian harbour town of Portofino as their reference.

By Boat to Fouka Bay and D-Bay

Tatweer Misr wants to link its coastal projects by sea, and Salt Marina is the first step. The brochure describes a boat service, Tatweer's NC Club, running daily in summer between Salt, Fouka Bay and D-Bay, so residents can go out to eat in another resort without taking the road.

Location

Salt lies at Km 185 of the Alexandria-Matrouh Road in Ras El Hekma, with 850 m of beach on the Mediterranean. Tatweer Misr puts it about three hours from Cairo and 50 minutes from Alamein International Airport.

Handover

At the launch, CEO Dr. Ahmed Shalaby said the company plans to finish and hand over the project within four years. Tatweer's Salt page gives 2030 as the completion year for the resort. Handover dates for each unit type have not been published yet.
