ETAJE Taj City New Cairo

ETAJE Taj City New Cairo is the last residential phase Madinet Masr is building in Taj City. It takes the community's final residential plot, right on the Ring Road, and covers about 26.4 feddans with roughly 600 apartments in 20 buildings.

Overview

Madinet Masr split the land into three parcels and gave most of it to open space. A green walkway about 450 metres long runs through the middle and connects the clusters. Cycling lanes, small pocket parks and water features sit along it. The buildings are ground plus five floors, which keeps the scale low for a Ring Road site. The launch was announced in October 2026, and the developer is aiming to finish the structural works within four years.

Location

The phase is inside Taj City with its own access from the Ring Road, across from the JW Marriott. By Madinet Masr's estimate, Cairo Festival City Mall is about 7 minutes away and Cairo International Airport about 15. Lemania Swiss International School and Asten College are nearby, and a mixed-use commercial area with direct Ring Road access is planned next to the phase.

Unit Types

Apartments range from 37 m² to about 132 m². The developer lists three groups:

• Studios of 37 m²
• Typical-floor apartments from 51 to 132 m², one to three bedrooms
• Garden apartments from 109 to 132 m², one to three bedrooms

Most units look out over the gardens or the water features.

Payment Plan

Madinet Masr's project page shows 5% down with the rest spread over 10 years. Prices aren't on the page yet, and no handover date has been given. Our team can send you the current price list when it's released.

Amenities

Within ETAJE itself, the outdoor space does most of the work: the long green walkway, the bike lanes, the pocket parks and the water features. Residents also have Taj City's shared facilities, including the clubhouses, a gym, Klub Kayan (run by Blue Ribbon), Asten College and the Taj Sultan Mosque.

Developer

Madinet Masr is one of Egypt's oldest urban developers, with a history going back to 1959. It is listed on the Egyptian Exchange and holds a land bank of around 12.8 million m². Its two large East Cairo communities are Taj City and Sarai, and ETAJE closes the residential side of Taj City.
